The YESS Original jewelry is all handcrafted in Bali. I am working close with only one local manufacturer. The artisians there are all permanent employees, working exclusively for this manufacturer, they are having a secure job and are paid fair. Some artisians even give their knowledge and traditional techniques to the younger generation, and it occurs that a family is working there for generations. I also try to adjust the designs to the available materials as good as possible. I want to create jewelry that is meant to last and to enjoy over decades.
HI I'M SHEENA!
Born and raised in munich, my fascination for everything in some kind of aesthetic first lead me to fashion. I am working in fashion industry for over 10 years now (most of the time as a fashion stylist) and I luckily was able to get to know a lot of different aspects of it. Purchasing department, public relations, marketing, creation and conception of online advertising campaigns as well as travelling for job reasons a lot were all stages of my career path which made me the overall package I am today. Keyword travelling, there was one thing always travelling with me: my huge affection for vintage! A pretty time consuming hobby.
By now I am a wife and mother and have the privilege to be surrounded by a very creative entourage, which I really enjoy. I have the best support when it comes to the execution of my ideas as I am able to work them out with some of my very talented family members. One of them is my other half, with whom I worked with in the last years a lot – and it´s still fun! Creative work will always be my elixir and the key to a lot more crazy ideas to come in the future.
